1:5 To whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.
We see from this verse that our Father is always to be worshipped in a most exalted state. How long? Forever! Forever is a long, long time. Forever is eternity. Eternity is an “endless or immeasurable time”. We need to grasp, by the Holy Spirit, the revelation that we are UNTO God – for His glory and purpose. We see from authority of scripture the preeminence of Christ Jesus in all things, therefore, should we not now live in the realm of eternity as we abide here on earth?
Paul said in Philippians 3,
“For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ.”
“And our own worship is in the heavens— and from there we await the Lifegiver.” (Aramaic New Covenant – used by permission)
“For our citizenship exists in the heavens; from whence also we await the Saviour Adonay Yah Shua Messiah.” (exeGeses parallel BIBLE – used by permission)
